Pete Allum and Thomas Hughes coached a tunnel camp over the weekend of Feb. 16-17 at Skyventure Orlando. Attendees for the camp were Jim, Eric, Sharon and Rene.

Pete Worked with Sharon on basic skills. Sharon had a bad landing a few years ago and wanted to go through the tunnel camp to relearn skills and regain confidence before her return to Jumping hopefully in the spring. Pete also worked with Jim. Jim is a local Deland jumper ho was looking to improve his basic skills and get a better understanding of 4 way and 4way principals.

Thomas worked with Rene and Eric. Rene is also a local Deland jumper and was interested in perfecting her basic skills and moves and learning about 4 way. Rene and Jim will be training and competing this year on the same team that will be coached by Pete. Eric was in Florida for a family reunion and decided last minute to join in the tunnel camp. Eric made some great improvements in basic movements and also in understanding of the dynamics of body flight and 4 way.

All the camp participants flew a total of an hour each in the Orlando wind tunnel and received digital photo's of taken while flying. The Orlando wind tunnel treated all of the campers to a great barbeque on Sunday. We look forward to the next tunnel camp in Orlando.
