XL gets second place at the Bedford Challenge. The team, consisting of Pete Allum (Point) Steve Hamilton (Outside Center) Thomas Hughes (Inside Center) and Brian Johnson (Tail). did 1.5 hours of training time in the tunnel during the 3 days prior to the meet. Even with only the small amount of training time in the tunnel, the team was able to stay on the top of the leaderboard throught the entire 1st day and parts of the second.

The winners of he competition, Arizona Airspeed, managed to do what they do best at the end of the meet and pull out an exceptional last round to secure the victory over XL with an amazing 28.3 average, beatining last years 28.0 average. XL managed to secure a 28.1 average, joining the elite 28 club.

The Prize pool of the competition was about 20000 Pounds with the 1st place position getting 5000 pounds, 2nd 3000, 3rd 100 and 4th 500 pounds.
